Edit: My color palette was Quinacridone Coral, New Gamboge, Verditer Blue, Pthalo Blue, and Payne's Gray.

This was my big project this month. I looked up so many YouTube tutorials from professional teachers to figure out how to paint the stunning photograph chosen for June's #pupachallenge !

My own personal take on this art challenge connected it back to my childhood in the Pacific Northwest. For that reason I added the seagull in the foreground. The seagull reference picture is sourced from a stock artist here on DA.
