Our reference this month is Kimberly II by Mrs-Durden :
I saw the golden tones in the background and the purple tones in Kimberly Divad's hair and challenged myself to make a purple-yellow complementary painting. The tones of brown glowing in the model's skin are produced by mixing purple and yellow together. Complementary colors mixed together make brown.
Because it's spring, crocuses readily came to mind, and I love pairing models with flowers.
