This was a huge challenge for me! I have never tried to handle an overcast landscape before. The grays were very difficult for me to handle, but I didn't want to change the color palette, either. I tried to narrow down my palette, so I removed part of the foreground, and I simplified how many trees. The misty look is something I've never really done before either. I am definitely not used to muted, earth tone palettes. This was a great challenge!

I had to look up where Tenerife is. I'd heard of it but never understood properly where it is. Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, off of West Africa.
