Thousands of clicks later and here's the pattern I've been working on. Final product will be 24in x 17in with 14 stitches per inch.It's based on multiple maps of the world of Golden Sun with a little improvisation, especially with the region of the northern reaches. Still debating on whether to add the lighthouses and with how to add a second color of grass for more variety.

Now this would be a project. Keep a person busy for years, maybe decades, at my rate of crafting.
I don't know whether it's some kind of optical illusion or the watermark or what, but I notice Venus Lighthouse looks almost the same color as Jupiter, rather than the yellow or green (if you were to go by beacon color) that I'd expect.

Yeah, I've been stitching it for the past 4 years. (I haven't pushed myself to finish it because I know it's going to take me a long time.) Though at least I always have something to work on when I get into a cross-stitching mood!
The lighthouse will be the correct color from the game, I just picked the magenta to contrast from it's surroundings for some ease while reading the pattern.
