I love this! This is my favourite artist interpretation of humanised Skipper ever! His features are just so detailed it's almost like I can expect to see someone walk down the street with similar features! It's just so lifelike and beautiful in that sense.
I also adore Rico's expression, it really brings out his personality in this fantastic art piece! It's just perfect how you've done this altogether, how the eye contact has been portrayed and everything. I think it's great!

I always figured they were in their 30's at the youngest.

hhhmmm...Skipper I'd say to be in his 40's...44? Rico actually looks older to me because of his rough (not rough in drawing, just in his actual face) features but then by his outfit I'd he's intended to be the younger of the two but I can't really guess. I'm quite bad at ages on people at a first look! XD I would have maybe attempted to make them look younger, maybe smooth out of Rico's features (I don't know why but I always imagine the penguins to be quite young in human form? Middle 30's at the most I don't know why XD ) but it's still a great job especially on the facial expressions!

Well, Rico seems to me a manly Latino, as I've said, 35 years old. Yes, he is really rough and very emotional (am I right?) that's why his face has such an obvious wrinkles.

ah, 35! so I was right in that Skipper's older? Oh I see what you mean about the wrinkles! I would maybe remove the ones from his forehead? the ones around his mouth and eyes are ok as they're from laughing but forehead ones can imply he frowns a lot? but it's still really good

No, look at the screenshot: Rico's eyebrows are raised. That's why wrinkles on his human-forehead.

but if you look at a lot of people when they raise their eyebrows they don't tend to wrinkle their when doing so, at least not very strongly- the forehead tends to only wrinkle from frowning

yeah those ages seem right compared to the picture but think it should be more like rico is 27 and skipper is 34.....not the them in your picture but like if you drew another one I think it would be cooler if they were 27 and 34.... but regardless just the aspect of them being people looks great! you proportion very well!!
