As I'm playing STH15th, I have so many feeling when I saw this part of story.Often confusing about"Am I doing right?"just like Silver.
And it's really lucky that Silver has an gentle companion Blaze!So do I,with my friends and families,overcome all difficulty!

Interesting detail that all those who think that Silver is a bad character because it is naif have forget or do not take into account.
Ok, he believed Mephiles in Sonic06 but:
-he have no proof that what he was doing was wrong or that Sonic was not the "Iblis trigger" (until he met Shadow)
-He has a minimum of reflection and doubts on the path he followed
And no other character ever did: neither Shadow when he wanted revenge, nor Knuckles when he had been deceived by Eggman, nor Blaze when she refused the help of Sonic and the others.

I think everyone has had this moment in their life. Questioning their decisions and logic. A very meaningful point in the story.
