Description LIFE STAGE ONE: EGG (also known as a globlet): Globlets give off the faintest glow of any life stage. They are round, squishy objects about the size of a golf ball. The glatchling inside will incubate for 2-3 months before hatching.
LIFE STAGE TWO: HATCHLING (also known as a glatchling): Glatchlings give off about the same light level you’d get from a glowstick after it was left out for a day and a half. They look a lot like worms or snakes, but more blobby, with smooth scales or fur and large black eyes. They tend to eat moss off of cave walls until they reach 10 months, when they officially become glimmets.
LIFE STAGE THREE: CHILD (also known as a glimmet): Glimmets give off about the light level of a freshly cracked glowstick. They move on from moss and eat small bugs like mosquitoes and flies. They are longer than their previous life stage and have small nubby horns and wings, although the wings are still too small to use at this time. They also gain visible pupils. Once they reach 2 years, they become shimms.
LIFE STAGE FOUR: TEENAGER (also known as a shimm): Shimms give off the light level of about  3 glowsticks combined. At this age they normally stop needing solid food (although they can still eat), and solely drink water. Their horns are still small, but much more visible than a glimmet’s. Their wings also have gotten larger, although they still cannot fly. Their length almost doubles in size. Once they reach 5 years of age, the officially become gloryms.
LIFE STAGE FIVE: ADULT (also known as a glorym): Gloryms give off the most light of any Glowyrm, about the level of 11 glowsticks combined. They still need water, but they only need to drink once every week, and can go as long as they want without eating. Their horns are now at maximum size, and their wings are finally large enough to fly with. They gain stubby paws, although they can’t do much with these. Gloryms have a vast intelligence, and can speak any language. They are the only lifestage of Glowyrms that can hear, perhaps this is why the other lifestages cannot learn our language. The ears of a Glorym are very hard to spot, for it’s the ring around their eyes that allows them to hear. They have once again doubled in length. Gloryms can live for an indefinite amount of time, unless killed.
NATURAL PREDATORS: any carnivorous cave-dwelling creature will often eat the eggs and young of Glowyrms, up to the glimmet life stage, at which point they stop being eaten by most. Sometimes an adult Glowyrm will however, be attacked by a large predator such as a lion or a pack of wolves.
HABITAT: Glowyrms can live anywhere, although until they’re adults, they reside in caves, preferably one with moss, bugs, and an underground water source, and even as adults, they will often be inside their caves.
COLORS: Glowyrms can be any color and have any pattern, but usually they are pale shades. (If you want a vibrant one, please ask first.)
SOCIAL: Glowyrms are usually solitary other than families, although sometimes 2-3 families will group together for protection in groups called Nitelites. Glowyrms mate for life, unless said mate is killed. Glowyrms are said to be excellent parents.
REPRODUCTION: Glowyrms create their globlets by each taking a tuft of fur or a scale, depending on the type of Glowyrm, and some of their saliva, and placing it in a safe niche in their caves called a birthing groove. (Btw because of their method les and gay couples can have childs)

HHHHH THAT TOOK FOREVER TO WRITE- ANYway, enjoy making your Glowyrm!
