Description
I drew this out not long after my American Literature class assigned us to read many Poe stories-including The Black Cat. I had already read it before but I had the spare time to do a reread and thus inspired this!
A part 1 of 2 pictures featuring a neko version of Poe's character's cat, Pluto.
For those whom haven't read the story:
Poe's character/narrator finds a black cat and names it Pluto (Hades) mainly to mock his overly supersticious wife. Over time, he becomes violent and abusive at random times. He would beat his wife and the many animals they had but not Pluto-not yet. One day, he was at the wrong place at the wrong time and he grabbed the cat. Pluto bit him and that made him furious and he cut out the cat's eye. It became worse when the cat hid from him even when he was sane. He became depressed and hung the cat...
(to be continued in the second pic)
