Full-view, please.Harry Potter characters as Slayers.
To participate in the forum discussing how I sorted the characters, please visit my LiveJournal and vote at the poll. ^_^
And for the record, my most difficult decision was between houses for Lina and Zelgadiss. I feel that Lina and Zelgadiss are impossible to peg. I couldn't choose between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor for ther two of them. Gourry's a true Hufflepuff, Filia's a Gryffindor with Puff tendencies, Xelloss is a Slytherin with Ravenclaw tendencies, Rezo is THE quintessential Ravenclaw lol, Ozer is THE quintessential Hufflepuff, and Naga is the Gryffindor that turned Slytherin when she left home

Keeyah, I love it so much! They all look very much themselves and Zel looks awesome with his hood up that way. I love the way that you described all of them, but especially Naga, whom I still know so little about, but you called her the Gryff who turned Slytherin when she left home. Hadn't thought it could be that way but I suppose...but yeah, hee, yay, I love it!

love the vibrant colors, they don't overpower the characters and yet they blend so well with each other.
xellos's expression still scares me but i love how you've captured everyone's character 
i'm especially surprised by how soft ozel's smile looks ^o^

I love Ozer so much. Seriously, she was so interesting imho. My bias in her favor may have shown in how I conveyed her. ^u^
Lol I had the most fun with small details. Zelgadiss's hood is up, andhe is trying to look badass. Gourry is licking his lips because he's hungry. Amelia has a star on her cheek because of house pride. Xelloss is evilly trying to feed Filia an ear wax Bertie Bott's bean. (XD) Rezo is pontificating about something with a geeky pencil behind his ear. And Naga is of course OHOHOing.

i think i liked her in the manga a little more than in the anime. somehow i can feel more or her character in the manga.
you know, Zel wearing a hood reminds that the HP uniforms do have hoods.
cool! i noticed the star too but i didn't know what it meant (aside from the fact that she might call it the star of justice lol)

Queer? Lol? As in peculiar or gay? Lmao but anyway I agree about the style. I think it was when I saw the treatment of Zelgadiss and Xelloss, my two original favorite characters, that I was won over. Although I think Xelloss is Xelloss because of more misleadingly innocent, babyfaced features than the artist employed, I still found him sexy, and Zelgadiss is just BEAUTIFUL because he was always very fine boned and lean faced. Same with Rezo, beautifully drawn. I didn't jive so much with the women's lack of noses

i agree! xellos was done remarkably well. i almost didn't recognize him if it were not for his hair and goofy smile.
heck, ALL of the guys turned out hot! (despite the occasional anatomy problems that pop-up). My jaw dropped during that first chapter where zel poses against the light in such a badass manner. heartless/dark magic swordsman right there! XD (then there's the doese of ZA fluff in the 4th chapter~ SQUEE
Rezo was just beautiful. i finally got to see the gentleness that was so tarnished by Shabranigdu. his last lines totally won me over.
Plus, Duclis gets a little redemption! (loved that omake of him and Radok haha)
the ladies were a bit odd. not as cute as i think they should be.
the final moments before destroying Shabranigdu's ghost were also
better protrayed in the manga than in the anime. Keeping them together as one team til the very end is what makes them awesome as slayers!
