"Sesshomaru" literally translated from Japanese = "Man of Destruction." In the beginning of the anime and manga InuYasha, this is an extremely apt name for his father InunoTaisho-Sama to have bestowed upon him. Ironically, the name fails to do him total justice by the end of the series. Ah, character depth, how I love thee....
I mean honestly come on, closet Fluffy fans. You know there are more of us really than there are Inuyasha fans. Inuyasha's cool but not as cool as his big bro

So my best bud made a "realistic" Sesshomaru-Sama, older half-brother of InuYasha, and Youkai Lord of the Western Lands, as a gift to me, a month or so ago. I thought I'd try my hand at the same project.

Version one, COMPLETED. I will do the exact same image and alter it with the pastel medium to look more grounded and less ethereal next time.

The model I used was some pretty faced GQ commercial guy. A friend pointed out that Orlando Bloom a bit more buff might make a kickass Sesshomaru, lol, so I may use him as a reference in the future.
