Eh, I've been uncharacteristically lazy today due to my optomitrist appointment--I was gonna take pics of my latest original paintings and submit them, but all I was up to ended up being doing some goofy Meitantei Holmes doodles again (my pupils were dilated until late this afternoon). Oh well, better than nothin, right?

Well anyway, this is more of a funny little concept sketch than a real work, but it's kind of an homage to Romi's work at the website "Dance of the River Thames," in which, in a series called "the Disguises," she puts MH characters in one another's clothing. In one pic, Marie Hudson was dressed as Professor Moriarty X^D which I found almost unbearably adorable, so I made up this scene in my mind where he's being pompous and rude and she takes the wind out of his sails (and of course totally melts him into giggles) by putting on his hat, one of his MANY monocles, and dancing around with his cape impersonating him at his obnoxious worst. The flower bouquet in his hands is just a funny reference to a gender role reversal, or maybe just him giving her a gift (awww!)
