Description
Eh, I've been uncharacteristically lazy today due to my optomitrist appointment--I was gonna take pics of my latest original paintings and submit them, but all I was up to ended up being doing some goofy Meitantei Holmes doodles again (my pupils were dilated until late this afternoon).Well anyway, this is more of a funny little concept sketch than a real work, but it's kind of an homage to Romi's work at the website "Dance of the River Thames," in which, in a series called "the Disguises," she puts MH characters in one another's clothing. In one pic, Marie Hudson was dressed as Professor Moriarty X^D which I found almost unbearably adorable, so I made up this scene in my mind where he's being pompous and rude and she takes the wind out of his sails (and of course totally melts him into giggles) by putting on his hat, one of his MANY monocles, and dancing around with his cape impersonating him at his obnoxious worst.

D'awwwww! ^.^
Now that is adorable as hell! Heck, I like how you captured Moriarty's expression as well as Mrs. Hudson. My god, she seems to like his hat.

Ask Skye for the link, I gave it to her. I'm pretty sure it was that Dance of the River Thames site, but I may be wrong. It might be the gift art at the Paradol Chamber...dangit.... can't remember!

Crap, I thought it was at Ethel's site....maybe I found it at HoBs's site....hrm...it's called "Dance of the River Thames," and the webmaster is Romi something-or-another. Ask HoBs/Kupfel, she has gift art from Romi on her site. And thanks!

I love how expertly you drew the clothing folds.
It's a challenging area for even I. ^^

*blush* thanks, but I feel embarrassed about those things in this particular pic--it was done in like 15 minutes (including inking) and I usually spend ten times more time on things like clothing folds. Check my gallery to see what I mean. But you're very kind, this was sort of an inside joke to other MH fans, so it's nice that someone else sees any value in it

I find that I produce the best line art when I barely think about it. If this was done quickly, you are quite talented.
And you're very welcome.

It really was done quicky...gee thank you. ^_^ My typical style is more like "Better Children's Book Cover." If you look at that, this pic really looks (IMO) like crud. Or maybe I'm just too self-critical. Or both. Yes, both is probably the issue, lol.
