We are finally here folks, the end of this hair and colour study!! For now at least  I feel like I've learnt so much from this experiment but more than anything I'm so blown away that my art skills have reached this point that I've produced something I can say I am truly proud of!

Of course that being said I do have to follow that up with saying that I'm not fully in love with how the painted faces turned out. It would have been a shame to have chickened out of attempting the faces so on that front I am glad that I painted the faces but I don't think they improved the piece. Firstly because I feel like the style of faces doesn't quite match that of the hair styles, next time I will make more of an effort to paint them at the same time to avoid this issue. Secondly I feel that the shading on the purple haired lady is too flat and gives the wrong shape to the cheek, but who knows maybe that's a good excuse to do a face study next!
