As a result of how she was raised, Amber is a freedom loving girl. She’s curious and loves sticking her nose where it doesn’t belong since when she was younger she wasn’t allowed to explore or question anything. She is very mischievous and enjoys playing pranks on or taking advantage of people, the total opposite of the sweet, obedient child she was when she was younger. Despite being mischievous she knows when she shouldn’t snoop or cause trouble. She tries not to show it often but she is still as kind and caring as she was when she was younger. In addition, she knows how it feels to hold painful memories so she’s careful around those who have the same, or similar, experiences. Amber is also very outgoing and cheerful, sometimes in an impish way.

History ♦ Amber was born and raised in the Diamond Faction. She was an only child and her parents were very strict on her. They forced her to do all the household chores as if she were a slave and had her go on countless errands for them. Despite how hard they worked her Amber was obedient and hard-working. She wanted her parents to be proud of her by doing her best, but no matter what she did she wouldn’t get a single word of praise. Amber felt like the only purpose of her life was to do her parents’ bidding. The only thing that made her happy was dancing. She would close the door to her room and dance by herself to melt away all her sorrows.

One day, at the age of 16, she was given an errand by her mother to purchase a fancy, expensive hand mirror from a traveling merchant whose whereabouts were constantly unknown. Her mother told her she was not to return until she had possession of the mirror and to work quickly. Amber realized that this was the perfect chance to run away from home and break free from her parents’ chains. By getting away she’d be able to live how she wanted and wouldn’t have to listen to anyone. She’d be fine as long as she didn’t break any of the rules. So, after gathering food and money from her mother and packing them into a bag she set out to “buy the mirror” for her mother. Once she her house was out of site she started running, no destination in mind, with the feeling of freedom welling up inside her.

Now that she was on her own she could do whatever she wanted. There were so many places to go and so many people to see. She wanted to improve her dancing and show it off to the world as well. After taking a few moments to think she decided she would be a wandering street dancer. That way she could go wherever she wanted and dance whenever she pleased, while possibly earning money in the process. And so started her career as a wandering street dancer.

♦ The dance style Amber specializes in is hip hop but she can dance other styles as well.
♦ Since she can't make her own music she can dance both with and without music. She does prefer to dance to music, however, because she can move to the beat.
♦ Amber’s ears and tail are kind of a weak spot for her. When she lived with her parents they would yank on her ears and/or tail as punishment.
♦ She is very active, always dancing, running, jumping, etc, so she takes naps quite often.
♦ Being a dancer, Amber is very flexible. She could probably be an acrobat if she wanted to.
♦ Her parents never listened to anything she said when she was younger so she hates getting ignored and is easily irritated when she is.
♦ Amber has no surname because she threw it away. It was a reminder of the family that tied her down.
