Description This one was shot during my trip to the Golan Heights, Israel.

The sun was setting and the lighting was golden. My family had a stop by the Jordan River,
and there was that tree... Some kind of white storks had a nice pit stop and enthusiastically
caught the last warm sun rays.

FULL VIEW is highly recommended!!

Full view does look goreous as is always the case with your beautiful nature work. I love the golden highlights in both the branches of the tree and the bushes in the foreground, certainly makes it recognizable as that special time of day. Beautiful shot

Really nice shot. I love the balance between the foreground, midground and background. I didn't even see the detail of the birds at first! Nice details and colors.

AmberSunset In reply to hirikawa [2006-04-25 20:46:07 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I know... The problem is that the tree was very far away, on the other side of the river, and there was no access to it...
But the lighting was so nice that I couldn't resist it and decided to share it with all of you

heh.. the pic reminds me of a classical cartoon scene where a scarecrow stands alone in the field with dozens of birds on it.. the tree kinda looks like a scarecrow..
you're right.. the lighting is excellent, and the picture is amazing.. the compositin and the clouds in the background are perfect..
well done my friend..
I tip my hat off

I'm partial to lonely trees. This one is just what I need - all golden in last sun rays. Great composition, Anne, with that grass in front.
