Description Dr. Luther Paradigm (Christoph Waltz) and Dr. Robert Bolton (Bryan Cranston) were great innovators of genetics research and made great progress in the field of gene slamming.  But, when Paradigm chooses to use their research for evil rather than good all Hell breaks loose.  He believes he can create the perfect being free from fear and emotions and equipped with great strength.  Paradigm creates half man/half monster creations and turns Bolton into one himself.  Bolton escapes, but is never seen from again.

Bolton's four sons John (Taylor Kitsch), Bobby (Chris Zylka), Clint (Justin Chatwin), and Coop (Johnny Simmons) realize something is wrong when they stop receiving contact from their father.  The four brothers search for their father, even using the help of their great friends Bends (Steven R. McQueen) and Lena (Alexis Knapp) who work closely with their father and Paradigm.  But, all goes wrong when Paradigm sends two of his monster creations to capture the brothers and turn them into monsters as well.  The experiment fails and he disposes of the brothers.  But, when their skin reacts with water they become different types of sharks.  A conspiracy starts from Paradigm that Bolton turned his sons into humanoid creatures in an evil plot to take over Fission City.

Bends helps the brothers by giving them a place to stay where they have access to high-tech equipment and vehicles.  Bends and Lena team up to assist the brothers in clearing their father's name and exposing the truth about Paradigm.

Upon their quest to take down Paradigm they reveal he is creating more monsters for a bigger, more sinister plan.  He is looking to take over Fission City and turns the citizens into monsters, as well.  All goes wrong when Paradigm slams his genes and merges his own into that of a piranha.  Paradigm becomes stronger, faster, and more keen than before.  Not to mention his body turns into a humanoid piranha now calling himself Piranoid.  The brothers with help from Bends and Lena stop Piranoid's gene slamming machine from harming Fission City and defeat his monsters.  Piranoid dies in the struggle by being destroyed by collapsing rubble from the factory they fought in.

Their father's name is cleared and the truth about Paradigm comes out, but Bolton still remains unfound.  The brothers continue their search to find their father.  But, just when all seems to be fine, Piranoid emerges from the rubble and a new plan begins...

If only Street Sharks had a remake. One of the sharks should have a love interest. They need a female shark in their team.

And probably better than Bay's TMNT.

I'd happily kill for a Street Sharks movie, although I would not want Brett Ratner directing it though. I can't stand his style of directing.

Even though I'm a Street Sharks fan, I chose him almost as a joke.   I thought it was hilarious.  It seemed like a very Hollywood selection.

I thought Transformers and TMNT and their recent connection with Michael Bay.  For some reason, Ratner became my first choice.

Wait a second ... If Dr. Paradigm told people that Bolton children become mutants and everyone knows this, why sharks to hide his identity?

Good eyes.  I went back and read my plot and that didn't make sense.  I took that out.  I might use the nicknames in the follow-up poster.

Thanks. Good. I hope you give them a good reason why the shark gave themselves to such nicknames.

I will.  It will most likely have to do with their personalities.  I've already started working on it.

Very nice. I'm not comfortable with it being from Universal, though.

Thanks, but why not?

One reason is if Street Sharks is from Universal, then that means Extreme Dinosaurs will have to be too, and I think Universal has enough dinosaur stuff.
