History: She was living with her young parents in Poland, and they had to escape because of a coming war via train at her young age of 6 turning 7(it was around her birthday). As they were mere paupers, they had to sit in the back in the luggage car. However, the train crashed and the car was set on fire from the expolsions. Her father died instantly, while her mother and herself were severly burned. The red cross came and quickly vanquished them to the nearest medical post. Her mother, watching her daughter's hair singe while the girl screamed in pain, blisters growing on her red, lumpy skin, could only think of her husband and how she couldn't live without him. Two hours later she went into critical condition while her daughter just went out. That night she died of heart failure.
After the girl could walk again, they kicked her out of the hospital where she was to return twice a day for medical bathes by a nun and then lotion aloe treatment. This went on for about a month, Melania with nothing to do and no friends, when the a new circus came to town. They came at the rumor of an elephant from the black market was there, and hearing the stories about the polish arabian they bought from not too long ago, she went to see. Theia, on of the dancers, found her and asked her where her parents were. Melania started crying, so Theia took her in, cut the singed hair from her head, and begged to let them keep the girl. (I'll do Theia's profile later, shes one of the three belly dancers, and this won't be the last time she took an orphan to the circus)
The ringmaster agreed, but Melania had to learn to be a performer.
When they got the elephant, the two bonded instantly.
By 10, the elephant only listened to Melania
By 12 she was showing the arabians.
By 13 she was showing the elephant
and by 14, she was the elephant trainer
Melania has a had time having fun, and can't seem to take a joke. She's very hard on herself, and will stay up all night perfecting a show, or if she made a mistake she will go over the routine over and over until she is postive it won't happen again. She's always remembering her parents, and seems horrible about it. It's not because they died, but mainly because they didn't care about their daughter like they cared for each other; although Theia tries to mother her, but her new dancing apprentice is quite the handful so she has trouble doing so. Isis also doesn't help, as she doesn't want anyone to come near Melania whatsoever when she's around. But she will learn to forgive and forget, and live her life, although it will take her some time to realize that.
Her hair also takes a long to grow because her scalp burned during the wreck.
