Please take my words with a grain of salt since I am not a professional photographer but here are my impressions:
Likes
-Great wide sense of scale
-Distance is established really well and I can feel how far everything is
Dislikes
-The lighting conditions don't seem to be ideal. Outdoor Photography (from what I understand) is best handled during the golden hours and when the lighting is more even. It feels like this picture was taken during a time when the lighting is too strong and contrasty
-I see hints of overexposure in the white areas. This is generally a sign that a proper exposure balance was not achieved.
-The objects in the foreground came out pretty dark and they almost look black. This is another balance issue I believe. Professionals take multiple shots of the same view at different exposure levels and then merge them together afterwards to achieve a balance that allows you to clearly see different parts of the scene at proper exposure levels.
I hope some of this was helpful.

Sure, I'm with you and thanks for taking the time to write the critique
I wish I had the chance to use the pro equipment instead of my phone but it's not easy when you carry all that weight in the saddlebags of a 800+ km cyclotourist trip.
The lightning conditions were with a pretty and strong golden hour not fully captured with the capabilities of the phone. You can even perceive the orange tone. I also like that contrast of light and shadow play that makes the volumes pop up with a more dramatic feeling.
With that said, I'm pretty satisfied I captured some of the colors, feelings and essence of the moment. The idea was just to capture the colorscript for future reference.
I appreciate your helpful point of view

I agree and disagree with the critique on this. I agree the lighting is somewhat questionable, however you have too shoot what you can when you can. As far as bracketing exposures and doing HDR with landscapes, images like this wouldn't really work if there was just a slight breeze. The lighting here is pretty good but this one looks to have a minimum of at least 10 images. If one where too do just a three stop bracket that would mean stitching 30 images together! I'm not a pro when it comes to panos, in fact this image was my second attempt with them. I metered for the sky and locked the exposure in manual then focused and shot about 5 images. Only made corrections for highlight/shadow areas and color.
