Project funded by PatreonThe first of many in my “Adventuring is Magic” series!
This was a fun bit of world building, and I really enjoyed this kind of character design. Look forward to being able to do the rest.

Note: I’m not using any established pen `n paper rule set for the stats. I wanted to keep it fairly general. And while it resembles DnD, keep in mind that it is not actually DnD.

mmm I like the other version better, I know the more furry coat is mmm to see, but it's a cooler contrast of the outfit on her.. Great art on both of them.. <3 that Raarity!!

Oh man, this is amazing!
I only have one minor gripe that probably nobody cares about:
The rapier is worn wrongly. To draw that weapon, she would have to twist her hand quite unnaturally to grip it; the guard is assymetric and should only cover the outside of her hand. Thus the sword should be worn so that the guard faces *away* from her body, on the side opposite to her dominant hand, and with the open part of the guard facing upwards.
Right now, it's facing downwards (meaning she'd have to bring her hand up from underneath teh sword) and the guard faces inwards (meaning she'd have to grip it from the outside)... Overally it's more suited to be drawn by someone standing to her left right now.
Please don't take this as rude, that's not my intention; I just wanted to tell you this in case you wish to do something about it. Everything else about the pic is great... I freaking love her outfit, class choice, stance..... her mane... You name it

The dark colour scheme makes me think it's inspired by Nightmare Rarity.
