Well, I got sick of there being no accurate maps of Radiator Springs, so I watched the film and made notes about what was where. (There's more roads in the town then you'd think!)Radiator Springs is Copyright Disney and Pixar

Hey. Just looking at maps, and I can tell you the town Radiator Springs was based off of (I grew up near it). It's called Holbrook Arizona. Just thought I'd tell you.

It's actually really cool. The story of Radiator Springs is exactly the same as Holbrook Arizona. The Cozy Cone, is The Wigwam Hotel. It's really cool.

Well, this is a bit out of date now, with Cars 2 out. From what I could see in the films, the Drive-In Theatre was in a slightly different place (probably me marking it wrong), and the buildings past Fillmore's Organic Fuel might have been knocked down - despite the Glenrio Motel becoming a Racing Museum at the end of Cars, as a result of the death of Doc Hudson (due to the real-life death of VA Paul Newman) the Ornamental Valley Mechanical Clinic has become a Racing Museum, so the Glenrio Motel might be being used for other things now.
