~In the Beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth (Genesis 1;1)

~Well, this is what I have been working on the past week or so. I have spent at least six hours on it. The base for God originally came from a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was found here: [link] It is supposed to be God in the picture, not Jesus, that is why I gave Him white hair. At first I thought it was strange that they would look the same, and then I realized that it was actually better that way; it shows how they are connected in the Holy Trinity.
I firmly believe that God is the Creator of the World, of the heavens and of the earth, and because He is our Loving Creator, it is our duty to love him and serve Him. I really hope that this picture provides a good testament to this, and I hope others can find inspiration from it.

Everything else is my work alone; I even made the planet, while following a tutorial for paint.net, which is the program that I use.

~Time Spent- At least 6 hours.
~Layers- Waaayyyy too many to count. xD At least over 100!
