Slinker
Completed November 7, 2013

Slinker is a one of a kind creature made completely of recycled watch parts

His body is made from many different brass gears and watch plates that have been soldered together into a sort of ribcage. His spine was produced from a straightened large brass watch gear. Shoulder blades made from cut, shaped and sanded silver toned watch dials protect his back. His flexible tail is made of a gold toned watch strap with a pincer made from watch plates and a gear. Slinker's arms and legs are made from a variety of soldered watch stems, gears, plates, and strap springs. His head and jaw are composed of cut and shaped watch faces, with eyes of strap springs and ears of watch plates and gears. His head is able to swivel quizzically.

Slinker is soldered together using silver bearing, lead free solder. No glue was used in the creation of this piece.

Dimensions: 56mm wide, 104mm fingertip to tip of tail, and 27mm tall. He comes with a 4" by 4" glass dome with walnut base for display. He is extremely fragile and should be handled sparingly and very gently, and is most definitely not a toy.

Wow this guy's creepy, and got great movement. Feels like he's about to slink (ha get it, slink?) right into some place he doesn't belong.
