Description
Creature is inspired by fiddler crabs, spiders, scorpions, grasshoppers, monkeys, bulldogs, and more.I find it fun to do something straight from the mind rather than working from real images.
Made from many, many watch pieces, including gears, watch plates, spring barrels, watch winding stems, watch jewels, and clips that have been soldered together with a lead free silver bearing solder. The lightbulb is a Christmas light. His spine is a watch band.
55mm front to back, 36mm wide, 25mm tall.

I agree! I have so much more fun that way, plus there are no restraints or guidelines. No need to follow reality.

after all, your art style is very fantastical, not realistic. I would like to see you do more ^u^

I can see all of the animal inspirations except for the monkey and bulldog maybe. I love this, it looks like something you'd find in surgery if the legs were syringes. Almost makes me cringe, really, but I like it.

I see the monkey in the ears, the bulldog in the underbite...although that is a bit hard to see from most angles. He does look a bit like a surgery bug. I can definitely see that.
