I'm getting confused by this battle positioning, but then again what can you expect from four Traitor Legions that worship 4 different Chaos Gods and surprisingly the Imperial Fists deciding to defend in open ground (because logic), and that Bolt pistol is doing nothing but pea shots to that Slaaneshi Champions armor, but then again what can you expect when you roll all 1s.
A great piece overall, I give it 10/10 Virus Bombings because Chaos and Daemons are on the planet.

I mean no insult when I say this is awesome, which seems to be like observing that the sky is blue, but I cannot think of any superlative that would truly do this incredible and impeccably detailed work justice.
Really brings home the carnage of the 41st Millenium and of the Ruinous powers especially.
Also somewhat reminds me of those old paintings depicting cavalry and such charging into the maw of battle, just with a W40K flavour.

This is great work, your use of perspective is - in my opinion - great and helps to convey the chaos of battle while putting you in the center of it. Most pictures I have seen - and done myself - usually only have a single line of men, maybe two to denote the fighting, with random limbs and weapons in the background giving the impression the battle is much larger. Instead of cheating and putting a large open space at the center of the picture you've instead filled it with details, and still managed to convey the battle. I am impressed and have favorited this.Β
