Description
Since I haven't seen people try to make this engine, I decided to try it myself. these engines were built buy Kittson and Co and most of them worked for the Manchester Ship Canal Railwayone of them was sold to the Glyncorrwg Colliery, then later sent to Coppice Colliery company in 1926 and used on the Chasewater railway, and later sold to the NCB "west midlands division", and was later scrapped in 1962.
I believe another one was used by the GWR at some point but I guess they weren't popular.
Fun Fact, engine Number 2 was originally named "Thomas" before the name was later taken away, and the locomotive later went by "Number 2" when it was bought by the NCB.
so yeah, there was a tank engine called Thomas at some point in history, but he's long gone now.
