Part of my final exam in 'Illustration' for this semester.It's interesting to see what people see in this image. Mostly I'm told it's a redish sky but some see desert sand. I love it
Materials: Gouache on Watercolor Paper + 10% digital painting

This is really fascinating.
I'm not sure what i see in the background... it's like sky and sand at the same time.
Maybe it's a sand storm approaching where both is mixed?
I also see faint figures in it.
All in all this is impressive.
