This card game seems to have a serious shortage of dragon gods

Hehe two different skills Graphic design and art.
Sadly lots of people expect some sort of sketch at the beginning but that's not my workflow, even for illustration
I'm trying to practice just because it's so expected. It's so difficult since people see things differently.
If you have an abstract representation of the final product, the person ordering is likely to assume the outcome will be a particular way but turn different.
It doesn't feel very practical for something expected to be quick

Yeah A lot of client's don't really know the difference either. On the viewers end it doesn't make much of a difference, but to the freelancer (artist or designer) they're two entirely different worlds.
In the modern day you either have to be part of a team or learn to do both to get anywhere.
Both skills on their own (art, or design) aren't entirely difficult to do, but doing both together is a challenge.
