"G-gah...!" echoed into the night; the desperate cry of a struggling man. Thumping, pounding, cries of agony resonate on the streets as a group of gang members unreasonably hit and scold a passing by man. Nobody was around to save him, help him, or even see him receive such abuse from strangers - until suddenly one of the assailants suddenly fly across curb, smashing into a wall! The other two look back, shaking in fear as the reflective sheen on a dark leather outfit signify the exact amount of trouble they were in. It was the Night Owl to the rescue! She lunged forward, spinning in a dash that resulted in her right foot to sweep the legs of the villain on her right and her hands to grab the shoulders of the one on her left before twisting again in the arm and slamming them together into the curb in a success of fast-moving attacks! The quickly-overpowered gang members lay there on the curb out cold, easy pickings for a clean-up police crew to put them away.

"Thank...you..." the beaten man said, getting up slowly as he looked towards his rescuer. Night Owl turned, her eyes slightly shocked. She knew this man... Shawn...he is a friend of hers and Nikki's, someone they went to school with, occasionally partied with, and generally hung out with not too long ago. She felt happy, relieved, and even more strengthened knowing the fact she saved a good friend!

"No problem, that's why I'm here! The police are on their way, maybe let a paramedic take a look at your injuries okay?" the graceful heroine said before turning to gather up the goons she defeated with ease. But the moment she turned her back, she felt a strong, forceful blow at the back of her neck, instantly paralyzing her and shutting down her body. As she fell to the ground, she tried her best to turn before all of her strength left - only to see the slight smile of her friend she rescued until everything went black and her eyes rolled into the back of her head.

"I got her...I finally got her...! My love, my dearest Night Owl...you will finally be mine! All the pain I suffered just to lure you here, to have you all to myself...!" Shawn said, kneeling down to pick up the fallen heroine, his visage gazing down at her luscious curves and plump, shining lips illuminated by the nearest street post. It was all planned, a trap, bait for him to catch the heroine off guard with one-fell blow...

Deep within the recess of her mind, Night Owl's thoughts raced...why did the man she rescued knock her out? What if she revealed her identity for him to recognize her as Sarah and let her go? What if he takes her mask off while she's out, realizes who she is, and...doesn't care...and even goes after Nikki! Her mind went into a full-state of panic as she was helpless to her friend carrying her to a remote warehouse to fulfill his fantasy of having the heroine all to himself...

How can she escape? Will she save herself? Can she muster up the strength to fight a friend of hers and put him away???
