"You Daz people?" lol that made me laugh.. I love using Daz, I have the Poser disk but I know that my runtime is not compatiable since I've moved stuff around. The thought of building a new runtime is daunting.. Plus I think I would need a seperate hard drive to house it.. *grins*

hehe...Stage has been tempting me with various 3d programs, Daz being one of them. Then I come across your image with the yummy water and...*sigh* But like you, the thought of redoing runtimes makes me shudder. My harddrive groans everytime I buy something as it is. hehe!

You won't have to re do your runtime to use Daz you can simply point to your set up runtimes with in Daz and you will see it.. What I did to my runtimes in daz is is this..
You know the structure is Character (Figure) Pose prop Lights Hair Faces ect. right?
Well When I add say a piece of clothing it automatically goes into one of those directoreis.. What I then do is find the lets say dress, in the figure folder, then I move the corresponding mat files from the Pose, and Prop into the folder for the dress under Figure.
What I've been told is you can't do that with Poser all files must remian in their corresponding directory's.
Let know if I confused you.

The effects with the water are done very well and I think it provides a scene that is outside the norm. I love that creative approach.
What I find most remarkable about this image is your characters face. In particular her eyes and expression. I feel like her gaze is boring into me. Awesome impact there! Overall your character has a very nice realistic look, great job on her skin, very lifelike!

That is one fancy pool! I agree, some caustics with the water would work well, add a nice pattern to the tiles like you get when light reflects or refracts or whatever the hell it does to water. I also like the pose of the girl, it is very fitting for a pool scene and makes me feel like she was the only one there and has been interrupted. Very nice ideas here!

I'm sorry, that tutorial didn't helps... Water is not water without reflection and refraction.
BTW, nice girl.

Nicely done!
I think that a little displacement of the water's surface would add to the realism...; perhaps use the caustic pattern, to influence the displacement.

It's a wonderful image, V4's Barbie-doll limbs notwithstanding. (Out of your control, unfortunately. )
I'd have personally darkened the reflective color of the water a bit more and upped the reflective strength a little, but that's personal preference.
Her expression and the use of a texture for the bathing suit that closely matches the color scheme are great, though.

Thanks for the suggestion I've saved the scene and I will try it out and see what I can come up with. I was just thrilled it looked like water and not my usual pixalmess.
