if you need ref material, look no further than the depths of maxedman's old shit folder maxedman.deviantart.com/art/Ol… contrary to the name he chose to give it there are some mad helpful sequences in there. I would have never attempted doing my own without it, speaking of which anomalousantarctican.deviantar… that's not so helpful because there is a huge gap between the most bloated human form and the first sphere, but idk, just throwing it out there

also don't forget the violet sequence in the 2005 willy wonka movie. they zoom in too much and generally don't give you very helpful camera angles, but it is undoubtedly the most impressive sequence anyone's ever made given the absolutely massive special effects budget in a movie like that
