Say hello to the Varwolf and the Sharkaw! The Circle poses are the only official poses done by Neopets itself, while the others are edited and manipulated versions of the circle pose (seen in the Varwolf) or completely hand-drawn by me (the Sharkaw!). These were two of 50 fake Neopets teased to be released as an April Fool's joke.The left one is Varwolf, it was my very first attempt at trying to make an entire species. The right one is Sharkaw, a top favorite of mine that I desperately wish had been made real. Most of the other pet designs from April Fool's have since been forgotten, but these two in particular have lived on in peoples' hearts and minds.
While they may not be official on Neopets, they are quite popular and beloved species on Leopets, a Neo-fansite that's bursting at the seams with original new species, colors, alternate designs of already established pets, AND you can have over 40+ pets!
These are and have always been free-to-use for anyone, for whatever they can think of. Graphics? Pose references? New species to put into your own Neo fansite? Whatever you want! I plan to eventually update this to have all 9 poses for each color for download to everyone.

i have heard of leopets .i am going to wait until the 1st of June before applying to get my own leopets account.

This is simply a question not a rude comment. But did you mean to make the coloration so bright? It's off on the original red and then a lot of the other ones seem really bright.

I did make the colors awful bright on purpose, because I like bright colors XD Exporting from Photoshop didn't help though, it made them even brighter. I'm a sucker for eye-burning colors. If I ever get around to pushing out the original PSD files, then people can simply make them any color they want c:

I wanted to make an account there when I was younger, but I was still too young for registration. Now that I've heard of the complications and complaints from the that site, I don't think I want to join.

Is Leopets a complete closed off site (invite only and if you are invited you can see it) or did the site close down? I was able to see the sign in page before but now I can't even find it :/

It's online and under new management, but I don't think they're taking new members at the moment, they're still waiting for some older members to come back

What an amazing creature, I especially like the white and brown ones. Brings back good times, I used to love neopets then it changed and I stopped playing
