Also, really pay attention to the minor details more so than the big pieces. The little things are really what makes this come together. For example on this one, the shadow on the toe next to the pinky is off, as well as its line. And take a look at the side of the foot, it doesnt join properly. Just some tips to look for on the next one.

Yea, that was one of my bigger problems when I was doing this one. I figured I could have kind of ignored it, seeing how the shadow could look somewhat proportionate, but after seeing it over again, I should have put in just a bit more effort.

Nice write up and thanks for the mention. Not sure how long this took you (your manip that is) but Ive gotten them down to 5 minutes or less. Ill have to make a tutorial for you and you can try it.
