Description
Can you see Ying and Yang in there?Man, tried to upload this piece three times already! i think there's something up with DA at the moment
Done using 0.2 and 0.8 black ink pen. I tried to have a contrast between the two sides so you could see it clearly, hopefully it worked.

I like zen tangles. This one is awesome. It actually has an overall image which is more than any of mine can lay claim to.
atsbasically all I have in my math notebook

I like them too, I always have an ink pen with me, so whenever I'm bored, or I just feel in an arty mood, I can do a little zentangle; even if it's on a napkin or my hand XD
Ah, but sometimes there doesn't need to be an overall image, if you know what I mean. I love doing them in black ink, preferably (because it gives it a gorgeous Art-Deco effect)
Ah, I use my maths book for planning out little stories I'll type up when I get home

Lol. I dont believe Ive ever met an artsy person who actually used their math notebook for detailed math notes.
I looooooooooove art deco. I find that I can get a deco effect with a darker red shade of ink too. Black is easier to get your hands on too. Convenience is the domain of the doodle.
Theres a reason why I sometimes use sketchbook paper in my notebooks

Indeed! All my maths stuff is at the front, so when the teacher walks by I can quickly flick back. I keep all my doodles to the back. I also use my maths book for doodles, simply because I like drawing on squared paper (Maybe that's just me...)
Art Deco's amazing! I collect Art Deco china, and all of my pieces have beautiful black and white designs all over them
I've also got a nice Art Deco mirror that I got at a bargain price. I took it home and restored it.
I've never tried using red ink (I have used blue) I think I'll give it a try
Notebooks = Perfect for drawing in

Thats when inspiration strikes, isnt it?
I want to design a sort of fashion around art deco. You know how there is cybergoth and steampunk? I want to make decopunk. Its a challenge with guys clothes though. I do find the suitvest and dress shirt to be a good jumping-off point but I am kind of stuck there.

Yeah
Ah! That sounds interesting!
I think the idea of Waistcoats and dress shirts sound good. Maybe you could add some punk hairstyles, or as well as the waistcoats and dress shirts, you could add some punk boots, you know those nice one with lots of buckles and leather.
