Abilities: Cursed with very bad luck that mainly effects him, but can effect those around him to a lesser extent. The closer physical proximity to him, the greater chance of experiencing bad luck. The effects range from mild: a bug he's about to catch gets blown out of the way by the wind, to severe: a bit of unstable roof will fall on him. If an element of chance is involved with him, it will usually turn out badly. If he hides in a house as it's raining, the wind will shift and the rain will soak him. If he's hunting an animal, a tree branch will break near him and make the prey run away. If he naps under a tree, a bird will poop on him. Things such as that. However, the effects are only severe or dangerous when he's alone. When in the presence of company, the effects are much milder inconveniences, part of the reason he's so attracted to company.

Personality: At Fault, despite his chronic, inescapable bad luck, resolves to work his life around it instead of becoming jaded and cynical. He finely tuned his hunting skills, so as to leave less up to chance, and tries to turn his unfortunate circumstances into self-depreciating jokes. Looking on the bright side, At Fault does his best to turn his misfortunes into silly little shows and laugh off the inconveniences. This comes at a price, however; he has low self-esteem and prone to sudden mood swings when he's experienced a particularly severe day, but tries his best to cover it up around company since he loves being around others and doesn't want his curse to drive them away. He's very friendly, smily, and theatrical to all he meets and none so more than females. At Fault is a shamelessly hopeless romantic, even going so far as to give them cheesy, dramatic titles to flatter them like 'My Warrior Princess' and 'Fair Morning Star'. A charmer and a goofball, At Fault just wants to be happy and make others happy. But he desires nothing more than to have a family and dote upon puppies, despite being aware of the consequences with his bad luck. At Fault doesn't fear being alone, but he enjoys being among friends infinitely more.

History: Being born with bad luck, his family's pack tried their best to work with the curse to deminishing results. Matthias finally left his pack after an unlucky hunt caused one of the elder pack members to starve to death. It was this incident that led him to hone his own hunting skills and circumvent his curse the best he could. His wandering eventually landed him in Athens, a place he'd been told was heavily populated with dogs unlike the grasslands where he was born and he couldn't resist the prospect of company. The origin of his nickname came from his time in the forests where a pack of friendly wolf-dogs found his tail pinned under a tree branch he couldn't escape from. When they asked him whose fault it was for his predicament, he replied "I am at fault." and explained his curse. After helping to free him, one of the pups began calling him "At Fault" and he took it to be a very fitting joke and adopted the title officially.
