Story:

Icy rain stings against Celia's face, pattering against her clothes. The storm that hard been predicted is rolling in, cloud this and dark. If they were luck Celia would he back before the storm hits full force, bringing with it buckets of rain and freezing wind. She hopes there isn't thunder or lightning, she didn't know how the mare would cope.

Ecassa's ears flick back, sensing her riders distraction.

Celia brushes her hand over the mare hot skin, pressing her heels into her sides slightly. Cold air whips there' hair back, ripping the leaves from the tree mercilessly. Celia pulls the horse right, nervous as mud flicks up. the ground had been dry this morning, perfect for cross country.

The mare snorts as they come round another corner. The ground is torn up from previous horses, a muddy slush in front of double grass fence. Celia just coax's Ecassa forward, aware of every stride and every muscle rolling under the horses warm body. Celia prepares herself for the jump, half scared the mare will slip and send them both toppling to the mud.

But sure-footed, Ecassa sets herself, and in one giant leap sends them other the obstacle. Celia pats the mares neck as the leap, grinning into the wind. The landing it slightly jarring, but Celia grins in triumph. For the first competition with the new horse, Celia was pleased. "Good girl!" she calls, patting her neck affectionately. It's short lives though, as soon they are approaching another jump. "Just like before girl, just like before."
