Please make it compatible with windows 10. It says "MetroSidebar suddenly stopped working" in my pc. I use Windows 10 Build 14371.

to solve the problem download this go to %appdata% delete MetroSidebar folder and replace with the folder in the rar from link below and DONT USE WEATHER WIDGET!

solved the problem,it was from widget configuration in appdata.i will put my MetroSidebar appdata files in a zip file here.

yes,and because i had some problems with my windows,i changed it to windows 8.1 Pro x64 and installed MetroSidebar today but i have the same error.
note:i will check the last log.

i really like this but i am getting the same issue as reported below. Β The length <0 problem. Β I just downloaded from the site and 're-downloaded' today and tried to install. Β I have deleted the folders and reinstalled.
I have WIndows 8.1 Pro x64, 12gb ram, dual quad core Xeon CPU's so it shouldn't be a resource issue.
it shows the first 2 items ok and what i think is the weather tile it stops and displays the message that corlatemanuel mentions.

Love it! But I have a suggestion: PLEASE ADD MORE LAYERING OPTIONS. It needs the "Always Bottom" option, because it covers the right side of my RocketDock. I can set the RocketDock to "Always on top", but I don't want to do that either because I don't want RD to be on top of all windows. I'd like to leave my RD set to 'Normal' layering, but have the MetroSidebar set to "Bottom"....
Still, it's very cool, and I love all of the customization-options it does have. The Tile Store is awesome too! But, sadly, I have to un-install it until it can be configured to stay bottom...

For what it's worth, for anyone having problems:
I'm on Windows 8.1.1 x64, and have BitDefender Internet Security 2015 installed. The sidebar is working 100%, and my BitDefender has given me absolutely no alarms or other issues regarding MetroSidebar....and, as most of you know, BD is usually a nazi when it comes to false-positives.
If you're worried about all the adware during setup, DECLINE everything and only accept the License Agreement/Setup for the sidebar itself! It's not rocket-science, people. Most software these days offer other software (adware); it's how the devs get a little funding.

After tempary deactivation of Avira i was able to download the file. The bar works and looks fine. Very professional done. I cannot use it for my Mac imitation because it isn't similar enough. But for a Windows system it looks good.
