Description
I never would've expected to do one of these, but here I am lol...I was asked by a few people here and on PaigeeWorld to do a hair tutorial, so this is just a super simple example of what I do. I don't always follow this method, but this is the way I did it on my last drawing here: aquagiraffe.deviantart.com/art…
I use paint tool sai, typically with my brushes on the S - 2 stabilizer when I color....
I hope this helps because I am in no means a professional artist hahaha.
If you use this tutorial, I'd love to see the results, so feel free to tag me~
You CANNOT, however, use this tutorial as a base or redistribute the images in this tutorial as your own.

Sure!
I use the Pen with the hardest Edge Shape (the rectangle looking option), Min Size: 0%, Density: 90-100.
• Ill use this to fill in base colors, with a fairly large brush size.
I use the Brush on the 2nd and 3rd Edge Shapes (hill and trapezoid shaped options), Min Size: 0%, Density: 80-100 (80 more for sketching, 100 for more defined lines)
• I use the 2nd Edge Shape to put details in the hair, or to shade clothing, like in Step 4.
• I use the 3rd Edge Shape to draw the line art, with the Brush on Size 3.0
• I also use the Brush on the 3rd Edge Shape to draw little hairs like in Step 8, on Sizes 1.0-3.0
I use Water on the 2nd Edge Shape (hill shaped option), Min Size: 0-20%, Density: 50.
• I used this in Step 5.
• I will also blend shadows in clothing with this.
I found this image online-- the little black shapes on the top are the Edge Shape options:
