Beautiful piece of work indeed! She looks like she is longing to be in the skies! Hopefully someday soon we could be seeing a Shackleton return to flight thanks to the guys at Coventry.
An Avro machine with four engines planning to make a return to flight, somehow that seems familiar?

Big old thing she is. They've actually got a couple of them - this one, and the other Shackleton in my gallery. You can go into the other one though. Would love to see one flying. At the museum, they sometimes wind the engines up but I've yet to have the pleasure of hearing it.

Hmm, last visited just before Christmas. Might be worth emailing the webmaster just to make sure - I know the camera club I belong to are due to make a trip up there in March.
