Description
Champlain Bridge actually quite small, all because it was 10mm wide angleP.S. What I noticed - HDRs from 40D has a bit more colors in some areas, BUT from time to time Photoshop add some strange artifacts, nature of them I cannot understand.

Great shot, my eyes were really drawn towards the center of the pic. But why aren't all the corners the same?

Thank you for attention! It is my kinda fancy idea to make fancy frame.... Is it distracting?

all I could think about, was that the corner was looking all wrong but people see things differently

Personally I don't mind framing, I just like symmetry and such on the frames.

Incredible shot; this deserves way more attention than it's gotten thus far. That Sigma 10-20 is definitely up there on my wish list.
Cheers.

now thats what i call wide
the 40d is a 1.6x crop, yeah?

AmirNasher In reply to dadoubler [2007-10-19 18:00:23 +0000 UTC]
Thanx pal!
40D has 1.6 crop factor, and 10mm became 16mm, which is still quite wide

dadoubler In reply to AmirNasher [2007-10-19 18:03:34 +0000 UTC]
yeah i got the same sigma 10-20 on my 350d, which is also a 1.6x
but this photo seems and feels sooo wide! lol... maybe its those clouds adding the "wide effect" on the whole picture...
really nice one, eh?

Great shot, how do you like the 40D?
π: 0 β©: 1
AmirNasher In reply to DuvallGear [2007-10-18 16:02:04 +0000 UTC]
Thank you buddy!
Actually I pretty happy with it. BUT sometimes when I put my 500mm manual lens it give me Error 99! I don't know is it bad or not, but with my 400D this NEVER happened
But 40D is the Beast, works well and fast, very handy to grip. For making low angle (love level) shots Live View is very handy!
