Hello everyone.
Several have asked me to do a tutorial on how my dragons were painted.
Here is one, the Blue Dragon. I hope you like.

When we have the sketch of our dragon ready to paint began. I usually do on transparent background, it is easier to delete and not paint the background is the first thing I do.
Once we have made the fund started by the dragon, the color is quite dark in this part. You can see the options photoshop layer or color just go up until you reach the light, of course covering the black below.
After that we went to photoshop and depends on you flatten the image and copy the background when it is convenient.
Once we finished painting, we create a new layer to multiply and apply some shadows if we darken some parts.

Step 1: Photoshop, sketch transparent background.
Step 2: I think a layer to multiply and do the background.
Step 3: Once you have done this go to Painter and paint the dragon, picking up the color.
Step 4: Attach image, copy background and continue painting if something is missing an end, the fund is if we make a mistake and want to go back a step back.
Step 5: I multiply layer with very low opacity, so I do the shadows out there missing.

Not much more to say I hope that the image can understand a little more.
Greetings to all!

Paso 1hotoshop, boceto fondo transparente.

Thank you very much! I have several made by me and my friends. Usually use one half, neither too soft nor too hard and an opacity of 30.

Colouring work is awesome thing in your art. It always looks so natural and bright. I love how you use lighting outline as a final step - it makes a dragon a main piece of a picture. Nice one.

What brushes and mediums do you use in Painter?
I am new to Painter, so any advice would be helpful.

I have several brushes made by me and by my friends. You can create any brush that will serve you well. A board does not use as much opacity. about 30 will be fine. But it depends.
