Still one of my favourite dragons - colours are right on and love the painterliness - suits the subject - Translucency in the wings is delicate and true - tail barbs poised - the skeletal wing parts look real, while the dragon is both powerful and ancient in wisdom. Moody sky is superb. Only one small criticism the right front leg, perhaps both front legs appear a trifle squat for this magnificent primordial.

did you use smudge tool to even stuff out? im trying to color my dragon realistically so ive been staring at this for help lol. even though its not a tut its nice to study

I use only the brush, usually this is the standard round brush. I use the pen pressure and low opacity for soft transitions. I have no idea how to explain how to use it, but I have some video on my youtube, it may be useful to you [link]
or go here [link] this man super teacher. He tells about landscapes, but his advice applies to all!

ah ok i use the soft brush too my weakness is getting the lines crisp enough with out making it look like lineart, thats what i hafta work at i guess ^^' but ill check out those links thanks!
