"Eleanor was right: She never looked nice. She looked like art, and art wasn't supposed to look nice; it was supposed to make you feel something."So, Eleanor & Park is one of my favorite books and I had to draw Eleanor because I can see her so clearly and she seems so real. Actually all of the characters do, but this quote really stuck with me, so yeah.
God, I love this book, honestly. It brings back some pretty horrible school memories, but the characters are so realistic and relatable. I wish I had a Park to help me get though those school years.
