I wondered if I could use a part of this picture to make my avatar . . .
only with your permission of course! and I'd be happy to make you one as well if you'd like one of a certain picture

For if one denied and refused to accept the existence of the single, unique sun, he would be compelled to accept the existence of a whole series of minor suns, each real and existent in its own right, as numerous as the drops and bubbles of the ocean, as countless as the particles of snow. It would be necessary to believe that each minute particle contains a huge sun, even though the particle is large enough only to contain itself.
It would be an even greater sign of lunacy and misguidance to refuse one's assent to the attributes of perfection of the Glorious Creator, even while beholding the well-ordered cosmos that is constantly changing in wise and regular fashion, that is being ceaselessly renewed in disciplined manner. This, too, would be like the ravings of a lunatic, since it would then become necessary to believe and accept that absolute divinity is present in all things, even a particle. For every particle of air is somehow able to enter and work its effects upon every flower, fruit and leaf, and unless the particle be entrusted with this task by a Creator, it must know of itself the structure and form of all the objects it penetrates and affects. In other words, it must possess all-encompassing power and knowledge.

Ah, I was wondering how you got the different coloring. Food coloring, eh?
I like the contrast of the bright colors against the black background.

you're right about the focus range, it bothers me too. I'm not familiar enough with my sister's camera to know how to get a better one yet though (working on that though )
thanks though, your criticism and complement both mean a lot
hope everyone who votes agrees with you hehe

Hey lady... leave out the insecurities for insecurity people... Your work rocks!!! I really would like to fave it... But I would like a focus range a bit more wide... Just a minor detail, but I'm an obssesed with details. That's true that my details aren't your details, cause I see that in this picture you did it a fine art photograph very detailed and meticulous... I saw your photo and I thought: this contest already has a winner, why participate?".

Very creative. It's not very often I see a unique "water drop" photo, but this is. Very clever to use different colored water drops. Perfect.

Even though I've seen a lot of 'water droplet on plants' pictures, this one really stands out. Never thought of coloured drops before, so major kudos for the creativity I like how you left some negative space to the left as well.

This is a truly wonderful shot! You could even crop the left side to make it a square composition, and it would just pop! Just brilliant

yeah I have been considering that for awhile.. or changing the blank space to black or something...
but in the end my indecision just makes me put it off and do nothing. hehe
thanks for the comment and esp for the fave.

What an original idea, which works so well. And an excellent choice of colours too for the droplets. A lovely crisp photo.
