ManananggalThis character is a vampire-like creature capable of severing its upper torso in order to fly into the night with huge bat-like wings to prey on unsuspecting, pregnant women in their homes sucking the hearts of fetuses or the blood of an unsuspecting, sleeping victim.

Actually, the monster is not much scary, but what scare me most is the painful eyes of the victim and his blood.
