I too hold a warm spot in my heart for trees. Especially leafy ones. I love to lay underneath the leaves in the summer, just wathing them dance and glitter, so vibrant and pure.
I read a good quote once: "Suburbia is where they cut down all the trees and name streets after them." Thought you might like that too.

ooh I love that one, I read it along time ago but have now totally forgot where it came from. It's such an unfortuante truth- they just torn down this beautiful area of woods and farmland to put up a subdivsion- we began seeing owls sleeping on hwy signs and alot more animals were being hit by cars. Once it was finished I drove through the new area and all the streets were called 'pine av, oak rd..' it made me so angry! uggg
the dance of leaves is always wonderful to watch- especially when they tell you things..
