“The Maned One”
Tarbosaurus bataar. A toned drawing featuring Khan, the Tarbosaurus, with his feathery mane.
I did this to pass the time and play around with some warm grey Copic markers I had bought. I have been in the mood to more toned work with my art markers quite recently. I have a few more things planned in this style over the next few weeks.
I may do something similar with another sketch I did of a different male Tarbosaurus (which I depict with smaller manes). Just need to find a way to transfer that sketch to toned paper.
Completed in early April 2024.
Done using markers, inks, and color pencils.
