*dies*This picture took me a few months longer than it should have because I can't composition. Ended up cropping away 50% or so of the original picture, but at least the composition looks better... Not really...
Also, Kyousogiga is awesome and you should all watch it.

Here's a tip: plan out the whole picture first before you start coloring. And plan it well enough so that you don't go redrawing the background three times after you've finished coloring half of it.

I sometimes save them as completely different files while I work to prevent lagging but to also have backups in case i screw up majorly

The light should be yellowish while the shadows are blueish; I kind of just made everything blue because I read on a tutorial somewhere that things are generally blue during the day and yellow during the night...

That's interesting! I guess it's true if you look at pictures. Or, at least pictures that follow that rule look better usually
But it's a drawing, not a picture, so whatever looks best is fine. No need to follow the rules of reality. Unless you meant you'd like it more if you had drawn the light yellow?
Yea, it's great for lulz. Especially if you're like me and take 3 years average to finish a picture. The first version of my pirate iggy picture is horrendous. I can't wait to upload it XD

Haha, you should upload comparisons of old versions vs new versions of your art. It's always interesting to see how much better your current version is!

I would except I want to finish the current version first! haha, it's taken me 4 years orz and it's not even a complicated picture. I just lack motivation. I also just continued refining the older version, so it's not even really a new version? XD
