Yes, I understand that other places were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Honeslty, I don't know the situation in the other countries. How bad they need help, if they have the supplies they need. But Japan was hit the worst, and I did not mean to display ignorance toward the other countries affected.

i am SO freaking sick of these people who constantly comment on these "Pray For Japan" pieces of art saying
"OH I DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD AND I DON'T PRAY SO PRAYING WON'T DO ANYTHING AND YOU ARE ALL WASTING YOUR TIME HURPDURP."
just shut the hell up.
i typed up 70 words you could use in place of "pray"
so i hope you all can come up with something better to say than "I'm atheist or whatever and don't believe in god."

I did'nt mean money, I meant...uhm, what would you call it...Moral support? All I'm saying is there is a ton of work and support and such things for Japan, which makes the output to Haiti seem comparitively small.

i know what you mean. but the way people showed their support was in different ways. Haiti got more money, while Japan has gotten more art. i wouldnt say Haiti got less support, but that it was in different forms.

The thing that's great about the Japanese is that they know how to keep a cool head in a crisis. I've read up on their situation, and even though things seem to be pretty hellish over there, they're really working together to keep things stable. It's an inspiration.
If L.A. was hit by an earthquake/tsunami/nuclear meltdown all at once, I don't wanna think about what would happen. Possibly massive riots. Not the Japanese, though!

Well, no, I wouldn't actually say they were that well prepared for this, but rather I would say that they are highly adaptable. No one could have prepared for the level of hell they're contending with now. They know how to roll with the punches.

I didn't mean that they were prepared for a level 8 earthquake and a tsunami, but Japan already has a great system when it comes to having earthquakes, considering it's a normal part of their life.

One a more serious (or not so) note, this is amazing. Like...absolutely, incredibly, fantastically amazing. I love the overall appearance of this, it's just beautiful. But m favorite part, the focal point of the piece, is the red circle qwith the typography. The mix of English and Japanese is a great effect.

Nope, and so far I haven't heard of anyone having to suffer from those waves(except for one guy who decided to photo said waves and drowned because of his own stupidity).
