I started my series of artwork "7 Deadly Demons" - this is the first. Demon of AVARICE-MAMMON.
I started reading a lot about the seven demons, and try to recreate their character.
Mammon - Demon -In the Christian religion the personification of the power of gold, of avarice and greed.Mamon, Mamoun - demonic being infinite; fantastic beast that lives underground.In folk beliefs Mammoth-animals living on earth in ancient times. Often mammon represent continuing to live underground and under water, hidden from the eyes of men. Mamon is endowed with the singular destructive (and creative) force.One of his motion, he changes the landscape, paving the river beds, etc. He first taught people to break the breast of the earth to steal the treasures from there. He was cast into Hell the last one. Always walks with his head low. he built for Lucifer's palace of gold.In some books Mammon is called the prince of demons, the tempter and seducer.

Punishment in Hell: Boiled in oil.
