That I am a fan of Road Rovers only adds to how great it is!
Btw, a little something that's occurred to me? When you think about it, four of the Road Rovers(Colleen, Blitz, Shag and Muzzle)could be connected with the (in)famous Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse!
How so?Β
Colleen = War: Very aggressive, tough, driven, strong-willed, hard-nosed and full of love for fighting. She scares even Hunter, who's admitted how headstrong she is, plus she never holds back against her foes, nor against Blitz, if the latter is bugging her.Β
Shag = Famine: Seriously, the guy's number one strength is eating! He's a coward despite his vast power, but food is what he almost exclusively focuses on whenever he's not serving his duty as a Road Rover! If there were more individuals like him, can you imagine how fast everyone would run out of food?Β
Blitz = Pestilence: Though as sincere in his heroic service as a Road Rover to the others, he still has no respect for anyone but himself, lives in his own little world and is a perfect example of how not to act, a rare heroic example. That, and his cowardice can go to disgraceful extremes, plus he constantly tries to hit on Colleen, despite her repeatedly making it clear that she's not interested. So he's definitely a pestilence and indeed a blight to her, upon the other Road Rovers and in general despite not being on the side of evil.
Muzzle = Death: Honestly, this must be the most obvious one of them all, even more so than the Shag/Famine one, and that's saying something! Every time Muzzle is unleashed, what he does is heard offscreen due to how it's a kid's cartoon and what he's doing must be incredibly graphic and bloody, even if it is to an evildoer! He's got to be treated like a minor-league Hannibal Lecter, for crying out loud, and is only let loose when it is absolutely necessary!
Quite the analogy, don't you think? And again, superb job well done on that artwork!Β
