ya know... i wouldnt even call this softcore porn... this is the same damn thing as looking at the nude figure of a greek statue.... bad example i suppose, since people were trying to get michaelangelos david removed from the museum it was in..
still... to me, porn is sleaze for the sake of sleaze... this is a rather nice picture...
if it has to be called porn, it certainly would be the kind filmed by senstive women, and not "us men"... as shes not being humiliated, or doing anything perverse.. the model in the picture is simply being natural, in the female figure...

It was a simple point. The works of Fine Art Photography in nudes is a hard thing to accomplish, and i recognize this. I also recognize that not everyone will like the works we create. However in my opinion this is nothing more than tits. The Contrast is neutral. The pose is snapshot. Thier is nothing in the lighting/shadows that exploit or show human form. Inshort if someone were to look at your piece in a gallery and ask "what is the primary?" or what is the focus? what is the point? what is the possible social value message? IT all comes down to the same tihng. From the pose and technique use this was obviously a picture taken for the beneift of being nude. nothing more. It's boobs for the sake of boobs. In which case it loses all artistic value what so ever and becomes a amatuer porn snap shot. If the model happens to you, i understand how you may take it personally, and how this may be a step in feeling more comfortable in "risky" art. However try to make a bigger attempt to do more than take of your shirt and click the button. You'll get further in art.

the model isn't me!
I just don't like plain simple comments has: ".. porn!" It seems to be only a dispatch comment, just to get more numbers in the comments column!
now you have made a good comment, well based and everything.. you have explained why you don't like it, why don't you do it with every comment of yours?
anyway, in my opinion this not porn... you have to separate erotic from porn and art from photography!
this can not be photography as in that pro stuff, but it can be art, in the way that carries feeling!
Porn, to me, isn't nither art nither photography, is simple exposure of the penis or vagina or big tits with a penis in the middle, etc, without showing anything else!
erotism, to me, has a sensuality charge, is more soft and appealing to thoughts and feelings...
In my opinion this is not porn!

i leave small comments to pieces that arent worth my time. and i ask to you, where do you draw the line between porn and art? a photograph is still a photograph. It's how it's carried out and intent. As for the feelign in this particular piece. The feeling is obvious, look at my tits. You see her arms and her pants and the bed. It's tits for the sake of tits. MY roomate has tits, and if i wants to take pictures of tits i'd shoot his. That's right, his. If you want to convince me of nudes in use of art and form in photography you'll have to do better than some chick on a bed flashing the camera.

I only say this: if a pic doesn't worth your comment, then don't comment!

^.~ ahh i said worth my time, not worth comment. Sometimes we do things for the sake of the piece, not for our own sake. That's what being an artist is about.

once agian i repeat, though it may not be worth my time, it's worth commenting. And as much as you wish to live in the happy go-lucky world where you believe the only comments left should be nice and happy and helpful. Comments are here for what they are named for, comments. Comments by nature are not always helpful but are opinionated. If you dont like the opinions of others that's your choice. But you take the risk of getting comments of all natures when you post. IF you cant handle that, then leave, someone else can use the webspace.

and i have done this. it is for the artist of the pic to take my comment and use it as willed. perhaps my comment of it being porn will encourage her to do better. as a passer by it is not your place to interpet this picture. if you cant handle that, once agian leave, and give the webspace to someone who can.
